Bring it to Zero Meditation - Neutralize Your Emotional State
I believe we have the power within to neutralize our emotional state. I actually enjoy playing with emotions that come up. I love this meditation! This meditation helps us to name the emotions or thoughts we are experiencing, brings them to zero, and neutralizing them giving us a state of calm and peace.
- Allow yourself to be in a comfy position breathing gently. Acknowledge your state of mind or emotion that is coming up for you right now. Observe it. Be aware of it. How does it feel? What is coming up for you? Would you like to neutralize it? Keep following and practicing....
- As you inhale, fill your belly with air, suspend your breath, pausing at the top of your inhale - - - being in the fullness of your breath. While suspending... Meditate on ZERO - “all is zero, each emotion is zero, your fear is zero, that problem is zero, etc” In other words, on a scale of 0-10, bring it to ZERO - a single point of light, a small, insignificant non-existence - neutralize it. It is not negative or positive, good or bad. It is ZERO.
- Exhale and repeat. Making this simple and easy. Breathe in a comfy rhythm. This can be practiced for 3 – 11 minutes.
- Now. Think of the quality or condition you most desire for your happiness, joy, and growth. Summarize it in a single world that comes to you, like “health” “wisdom” “joy” "free". It must be one word. Lock on that word and thought. Visualize it. Inhale and suspend the breath as you beam the thought in a continuous stream. Lock onto it. Feel it. Breath as needed. This can be practiced for 3 -11 minutes.
- After your 3 -11 minutes, gently stretch your arms up, spread your fingers, and bring in good energy into your heart with an ahhhhhh! 3x
- Come out of this practice slowly and gently as you reflect the shift and stable energy you are feeling.
