Time for Chamomile - with Pamela Hunter

The past few weeks I have found myself drinking more and more chamomile tea.  It is one of my favorite teas for sure.  Making another cup, I started thinking about the chamomile flowers and how I love the daisies!  It took me to the beautiful farm day in Mona, Utah when we played in the fields and sunshine.  So often we do not correlate the flowers to the tea to the essential oils we love.

Chamomile supports our skin, our nervous system, our immune system, and our rest time.  It is a beautiful time of year to ramp up your chamomile consumption as it is lovely support to the liver.  Spring time is the time of year to LOVE your Liver!

I learned early on in my holistic wellness journey that the liver stores a lot of our unwanted emotions that become stuck in our body.  Essential Oils are such wonderful tools, easy to use to support us emotionally.  And while I enjoy a cup of chamomile tea, it is easier to have my bottle of German Chamomile in my pocket or on my desk to apply topically to the right side of my body, under my ribs, for wellness support throughout the day.  Stuck emotions be gone!

Both of these bottles are German Chamomile.  In fact, they are the exact same oil.  They are labeled differently to make sure people know that this German Chamomile can be be applied topically, in a diffuser, AND as a dietary supplement (Young Living's Vitality line of oils in the white labels).

German Chamomile is mostly Sesquiterpenes which means it is soothing and can have profound effects on emotions and hormonal balance.  German Chamomile may expel anger, stabilize emotions and help release emotions linked to the past.  It may soothe and clear the mind, creating an atmosphere of peace and patience.  It is BLUE and has a more pungent aroma.

Roman Chamomile is mostly esters with a strong, sweet aroma in the Linalyl acetate.  Esters are soothing, balancing, stress and emotional releasing. Because of its soothing properties, it may dispel anger, stabilize emotions and help release emotions linked to the past.  It is light in color and has a very sweet aroma.

Spring time is a wonderful time to let go of the old and in with the new. It is a rebirth, a time of new life.

If you have not yet tried German Chamomile or Roman Chamomile essential oils, now is a great time.
